3. Place the lid on the cooker; align the locking pin on the handle with the
open lock symbol and turn it counterclockwise until the locking pin clicks
into place. Turn the pressure regulator knob to PRESSURE when using
the pressure cook setting, turn the knob to STEAM when using the steam
setting.
4. Press the VEGETABLE button once to show the pressure cook preset time
of 2 minutes at low pressure. Press the VEGETABLE button twice to show
the steam preset time of 3 minutes. If you need to adjust the time, press the
+ or – buttons once for each additional minute or to fast advance, hold the
button down until you reach the desired time.

5. When using the pressure cooking setting: As the pressure builds, the
pressure icon indicator lights will blink. Once pressure has been reached, the
pressure icon and lights will go solid and the unit will beep. This is when your
cooking time will begin to count down.
When using the steam setting: The temperature icon will blink as the
temperature rises. Once the temperature has been reached, the temperature
icon will go solid and the unit will beep. This is when your cooking time will
begin to count down.
NOTE: If you forget to select a desired cooking time or forget to press the
START/STOP button, the unit will beep and the digital display will read --:--
after 30 seconds.
6. Once function. If you do not press the START/STOP button or release
pressure at the end of the cooking time for the pressure cooking setting, the
multi-cooker will beep periodically to remind you to release pressure.
Note: Use the quick release pressure method when pressure cooking
vegetables so they do not overcook.
