General Procedure; Set The Temperature - Hach Micro Dist Manuel D'utilisation

• The manufacturer recommends that the user distills a set of standards at least once a day or once
every batch of samples. Then, use the Micro Dist standards as the calibration standards for the
method used to determine the samples.

General procedure

Set the temperature

1. Turn the power
switch on.
5. Push the loop key.
The display shows the
temperature of the
heater block.
Prepare the collector tubes
If pre-filled collector tubes are used, do only step 1.
1. Put one collector
tube in the rack with the
M end up for each
sample to distill.
2. Push the loop key.
The display flashes
between "SP" and the
temperature setting.
2. Prepare the trapping
solution if applicable.
Refer to Trapping
solutions on page 17.
Put trapping solution in
each collector tube.
3. Use the UP and
DOWN arrows to select
the temperature. Refer
to Method information
on page 16 for the
temperature setting.
3. Put a cap membrane
over a collector tube.
Put a tube cap on the
collector tube. Refer to
Figure 2 on page 6.
4. Push Enter.
4. Do step 3 for each
collector tube.
