You should consider cleaning your fountain regularly. The cleaning frequency depends on the number of animals that use the
fountain. The more animals that use it, the greater the need to clean it regularly.
Filter: For an optimum use of the fountain, the charcoal filter must be changed every month. You can purchase set of 6 filters from
your supplier at any time or on NUM'AXES website at www.numaxes.com.
Fountain: Clean your fountain ideally every 2 weeks using warm/hot soapy water.
Pump: You should clean the pump at least once a month in keeping with the following instructions:
1)
Carefully lift the pump from the base of the fountain.
2)
Remove the grill, the propeller cover and the propeller.
3)
You can clean all parts with hot soapy water. Use a cotton bud to remove any dirt. For a more effective cleaning result,
clean the pump with white vinegar.
4)
Rinse all elements thoroughly.
5)
Once the parts of the pump are clean and dry, re-assemble all the elements.
