05 | INSERTING THE BATTERIES
Open the battery compartment lid (4) and insert 2 pieces of Mignon AA 1,5 V batteries
(optional) according to the polarity markings (+/-) into the battery compartment (5). Close
the battery compartment. Please remove batteries when device is not in use for a long
period of time.
06 | MOUNTING
06.1 MOUNTING ON A CAMERA/CAMCORDER WITH FLASH HOT SHOE
For mounting on your camera or camcorder, slide the universal flash shoe (1) in the hot
shoe mount of your camera or your camcorder. Turn down the locking screw (2) to lock
LED light tight.
06.2 MOUNTING ON A TRIPOD
For mounting on a tripod, screw the LED video light with the ¼ tripod socket underneath
the universal flash shoe (1) onto your tripod.
06.3 COMBINE MULTIPLE LED VIDEO LIGHTS
To combine several VL-49 LED video lights slide the respective universal flash shoe (1)
into the connectors (6). Please note sketch:

07 | OPERATION
To turn on the LED video light, turn the on/off switch (3) clockwise to the right until it
clicks.
To adjust the brightness, turn the brightness control (3) to the right or to the left.
To turn off the LED video light, turn the on/off switch (3) counterclockwise to the left until
it clicks.
08 | CLEANING AND STORAGE
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recommend
a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth to clean the outer parts of the device. Turn off the
device and remove batteries before cleaning. Store the device in a dust-free, dry and cool
place. This device is not a toy – keep it out of reach of children. Keep away from pets.
