Question / Error / Problem
Print error
Side shift / layer shift
The upper part of the print
object has shifted laterally.
Printing is interrupted with a
filament flow error.
The extruder rattles when
printing the first layer (first
few minutes of printing).
Incomplete print / layer mis-
sing.
Printer displays an error
message "Short circuit of
12 V power supply" or printer
crashes when the jack plug of
the extractor fan is inserted.
What does the message
"1000 operating hours"
mean?
Unit displays "Short circuit
detected at the motor driver"
as well as an ErrorCode.
Printer displays "Error in
GCode" if the height of the
object to be printed is more
than 100 mm.
Printer displays "Error in
GCode".
Display remains dark, does
not function after pressing
the reset button.
What happens if the customer
loses or damages the spacer?
When does the Kapton film
need to be replaced?
Printing via USB cable is
aborted.
Is it possible to connect the
printer using a LAN cable?
Cause
• Print bed was not repositioned cor-
rectly in the printer after removal
and repositioning.
• Latch on the build plate was not
correctly closed.
• The print bed moved during printing,
thus impairing printing.
• Filament does not roll off during
printing.
• Incorrect calibration of the print bed
(nozzle too close to the print bed,
filament cannot be extruded from
the nozzle).
• USB flash drive is faulty.
• GCode files are not saved comple-
tely.
• USB stick removed during the save
process.
• If the plug of the extractor fan is
not fully inserted or is inserted or
disconnected during operation, the
socket causes a short circuit.
• Overload detected in a motor or
motor is faulty.
• USB flash drive is faulty. G-Code
files were not correctly saved.
• If the reset button is pressed on the
display or the circuit board, the firm-
ware is deleted.
• If the computer is operating at ca-
pacity with other tasks (e.g., scan
software is open at the same time),
USB transfer may be interrupted,
and printing aborted.

Troubleshooting / Solution
• Before printing, ensure that the print bed is installed
correctly.
• Latch clasps must be closed to secure the print bed.
• The filament has become knotted. Roll off the fila-
ment up to the location where it is knotted and cut it
off. Load the filament again and start printing.
• Level the print bed.
• Test with another USB flash drive or replace USB
flash drive.
• To avoid data loss, it is important to safely remove
the USB flash drive.
• The jack plug of the extractor fan may only be in-
serted or disconnected when it is switched off.
• When 1000 operating hours have been reached,
servicing is required in accordance with Chapter 11
of the instructions for use.
• Unit must be repaired by the service team.
• Update sliceware to min. version 1.0.3.
• Test with another USB flash drive or replace USB
flash drive.
• Firmware must be installed again.
• The spacer card is available as a spare part.
Art. no. 900219048
• The Kapton film must be replaced if it is scratched /
damaged / faulty or if adhesion of the models no
longer occurs during printing.
• Only print via USB cable if the computer is perma-
nently available and not operating to 100 % capaci-
ty. Otherwise, use the USB flash drive.
• No, a LAN connection is not possible. The printer
does not have a corresponding port.
