Cause
• In the case of a poor WiFi connec-

and the SIMPLEX may be interrupt-
ed with the result that it cannot be
ensured that SIMPLEX print can be
used securely and reliably.

Troubleshooting / Solution
• We generally recommend printing via USB flash
drive: the G-Codes are saved from the PC to the
USB flash drive. The USB flash drive must then be
inserted into the USB port of the printer.
• If the printer is located adjacent to the PC, it is pos-
sible to print using a USB cable: the USB flash drive
is not required. During printing, the connected com-
puter must not be shut down or switched to stand-
by / energy-saving mode.
• Printing via WiFi: Only recommended for WiFi net-
works with good coverage and few outages. The
USB flash drive must be inserted in the USB port.
The USB flash drive is used as an external storage
medium.
• If data transfer via WiFi is not stable, we recom-
mend printing using a USB flash drive.
• The WiFi module of the printer only operates at 2.4
Ghz.
• No, acetone would damage the Kapton. Corre-
sponding cleaning agents are listed in the IFU.
• Grease is not included in the scope of delivery of the
printer.
• Generally, PTFE lubrication grease should always
be used.
• The SIMPLEX printer and the CONNECT app can-
not communicate directly with each other due to
different software languages.
• No notifications (e.g., print stop) are sent via the
app.
• For news or software updates, please visit our web-
site at myRenfert.
• On average, 40 - 50 models depending on the size
and type of model.
• Over time, acetone degrades PLA. If briefly wiped
with acetone, models become matt.
• If TEMP1 or TEMP2 filament is used, the filament
must always be loaded or unloaded using TEMP2
settings.
• For more information, see Chapter 7.3 in the instruc-
tions for use.
• Our filament does not have an expiry date, but it
should be stored in a closed container and dark
location with silica gel in order to protect the filament
against damp.
• Yes
- using fast-acting adhesive:
Using fast-acting adhesive can cause white spots
to develop.
- Hot-melt adhesive:
Ensure that the resin begins to soften from
60 - 70 ºC. It must be ensured that the areas to be
bonded do not become too hot.
- or using 2-part adhesive
