Compact Ventilation Units AIR1 XC
c Constant pressure
Only possible with pressure sensor AIR1-CAP accessory. Installation in the supply air or extract air duct is possible.
One ventilation stage is possible:
• Normal
If the ventilation stage minimal or intensive is subsequently selected, the ventilation unit will run with the settings for the
ventilation stage normal.
If "Constant pressure" has been selected, the duct pressure can be set using the "fan control" menu. The duct pressu-
re setpoint is set for the supply air fan. The extract air fan has the same volume flow as the supply air fan.

d External fan control
The ventilation unit is operated with two separate analogue voltage signals (0-10 V):
• Supply air fan: Analogue input AI3
• Extract air fan: Analogue input AI4
Only one (variable) ventilation stage is available in this mode. When any manual ventilation stage is selected in the "Ope-
rating mode" menu, the ventilation unit will always run with the external 0-10 V control signals. If "OFF" is selected, the
ventilation unit will not run.
The sensor-controlled operating function (Ventilation on demand = VOD) is not available in this ventilation mode. The
recirculation mode with timer and external switch contact, as well as free night cooling, are still available.
248 Electrical pre-heating
The electrical pre-heating is included in the scope of delivery as standard.
The electrical pre-heating prevents the freezing of the heat exchanger. It must be activated during the initial commissi-
oning. The electrical pre-heating is deactivated as standard.
Press the
button in the "electrical pre-heating" menu to activate or deactivate the electrical pre-heating. Select "YES/

249 Filter type Supply air
The following filter types are available:
• ePM1 55 % (F7)
• ePM1 80 % (F9)
• ePM10 50 % (M5) + ePM1 55 % (F7)
• ePM10 50 % (M5) + ePM1 80 % (F9)
A corresponding filter loss curve is stored for each type of filter. The filter/maintenance alarm is triggered if the filter
pressure loss is higher than the maximum permissible filter pressure loss, regardless of the selected operating point.
The alarm will automatically deactivate after the filter change.
