Assembly
Remove the clear tape covering the recess in the edge guide (A), remove the
two self-tapping screws (B), and use them to secure the edge guide to the rail
(C). Orient the edge guide for right-hand or left-hand operation as shown.

The filler strip (D) on the sled (E)
is supplied with the angled ribs
facing up. These ribs support
a saw base with an angled leading
edge, keeping the saw base flat
on the sled when the set screws
(F) in the base-plate clamps (G)
are tightened. For a saw base with
a flat leading edge, lift the filler
strip from the sled recess with the
tip of a screwdriver, turn it over
to expose the flat face and press
it into the recess.
