Instructions for Use
When switching on the machine, the saw blades may not face against or
touch anything.
When sawing light building materials, observe the statutory provisions and
the recommendations of the material suppliers.
Check wood, press boards, building materials, etc. for foreign objects such
as nails, screws or similar, and remove them, if required.
For long, straight cuts first draw a line on the workpiece and follow the line.
Do not allow blocking of the tool. Apply only a gentle pressure to the tool and
do not exert side pressure on the saw blade.
After blades have engaged the workpiece, guide the tool back and forth in a
rotating, see saw like motion as the blades cut down through the workpiece.
Make downward cuts only. Avoid cutting earth as this will blunt the saw
blades very quickly.
Do not use the saw for cutting curves.
In case the saw blades become jammed, switch off the machine
immediately. Widen the sawing cut somewhat with a suitable tool and pull
out the machine.
The auxiliary handle can be mounted on the left or
on the right side of the machine, depending on the
operation method.
To change sides, open the hexagon socket head
screw (see arrow) with the supplied Allen wrench
SW 5 and install the handle on the opposite side.
First press the lock-off button (1) to unlock the
tool.
To run the tool, press the on/off-switch (2).
1
As soon as the on/off-switch is released the lock-
off switch is automatically activated to prevent
unintended starting.
