Fitting electric components
Avoid external influences by magnetic or

ferritic parts in the vicinity of the measur
ing head (approx. 100 mm).
This will guarantee that the sensor func
tions faultlessly.
Insert the screw with cutting thread sup
S
plied into the hole for the earth connec
tion 9.
This will ensure the electrical contact in
spite of the anodizing layer.
Connect the earth cable with low impedance (short cable with large cross−
S
sectional area) to the earth potential.
If the DNCI−... is used with electronic control:
Connect the measuring system to the connecting cable as described in the
S
manuals for type SPC... .
If the DNCI−... is used as a measuring cylinder:
Connect the measuring system as follows:
