7. ELECTROCHEMICAL MARKING (
In addition to its use for cleaning and polishing welds, the machine can be used for electrochemical marking of stainless
steel. With this function any logo can be marked instantaneously onto metal (stainless steel). The machine causes stabilized
oxidation of stainless steel that is permanently indelible. The electrochemical process is based on the electrolysis of neutral
solutions, which are neither corrosive or irritant. It is possible to obtain darker and bolder marks working in alternate
current (black line) or lighter marks working in direct current (white line).
Pay attention: marking function require the use of a special Kit "Marking Kit" (coposed by electrolytic solutions, insert
and special felts, specific for this function) with a marking screen (personalized with customer logo).

To mark stainless steel surfaces it is necessary the use of a marking screen (28) that it is realizable on specific graphic
request of customer. Please contact N

ARKING GRAPHITE INSERT INSTALLATION
1. Unscrew the screw (32) situated on the handgrip (31) with the 2,5mm Allen Key.
2. Install the graphite insert (33) on the handgrip (31) and fix it with the 2,5mm Allen Key.

ARKING FELTS INSTALLATION
1. Put the marking felt (34) on the graphite insert (33) so that it will be all covered.
2. Fix the marking felt (34) to the graphite insert (33) using the O-ring (35).
Pay attention: in case the marking felt (34) is not properly fixed the following situations can arise:
 short-circuit due to the contact between the graphite insert (33) and the workpiece .
 the marking screen (38) can be damaged by the contact with a corner of the graphite insert (33).

PROCESS SELECTION
Put the knob (10) on the marking function you selected (red area)
for darker and bolder marks (with marking electrolyte - 36)

7.5. E
LECTRIC INSTALLATION
Machine OFF:
1. Connect one side of the small torch power cable (29) into the red socket (5) situated in the front panel of the machine and
the other side on top of the handgrip (31). (Picture K3).
2. Connect the plug of ground cable (19) into the socket (5) in front of the machine.
3. Put the clamp of the ground cable (19) on the stainless steel work piece that has to be marked.
4. Insert the plug of machine power cable (6) into a socket in compliance with the laws in force, by referring to the rated
voltage indicated on the front panel of machine.
