GSM transmission:
PBX:
CONSTANT:
REMOVE:
ADD:
Example:
The telephone number of the emergency service to which protocols are transmitted
is 021/123456. A voice message is also sent to the mobile phone number
0160/654321.
The telephone line of the alarm centre is linked to the telephone line of the GSM-
Interface that is connected to a PBX (extension line). To get an outside line, a "0"
has to be dialled. Since the GSM-Interface is also in Birmingham, no local area
code has to be dialled for the PSTN.
PSTN standard transmission:
If the GSM-Interface recognises an existing PSTN telephone line, the dialler
forwards incoming calls of connected equipment (e.g. an alarm system).
>>>The telephone number in the alarm centre is specified as 0123456, since a 0 is
needed to get an outside line and no local area code is needed. The mobile phone
number is entered as 00160654321.
GSM transmission (PSTN failure):
>>> Under NS, a 0 must be programmed since it is no longer necessary to get an
outside line as with PSTN.
>>> The digit 01 is defined under CONSTANT.
>>> The local area code 021 must be defined under ADD.
>>> Due to the settings for ADD and CONSTANT, the device no longer sends
0123456 over GSM to the emergency centre, but the following number instead:
021/123456. The voice message is sent to the mobile phone number 0160/654321.
If the first digit of a dialling code is the digit entered here (usually
"0"), this is deleted.
If the dialling code entered remains after the first digit is deleted
(see PBX), it remains when switching from PSTN to GSM.
If the dialling code entered remains after the first digit is deleted
(see PBX), it is deleted when switching from PSTN to GSM.
If an additional dialling code has to be added, it is defined under
ADD. If the CONSTANT code is effective, this additional dialling
code is not added.
