Operation
DC 1800: Connect the unit to a suitable
power source, note requirements on the ID
plate. If an extension cord is to be used,
only waterproof cords are acceptable.
DC 1800 Autostart:

position. Th e unit will start automatically
when the subject tool is started. For manu-
al start of the unit, set the selector switch
to the MAN position.
Th e DC 1800 is equipped with a fi lter
indication lamp that indicates when the
fi lter needs cleaning or changing. Th e fi lter
is genereally cleaned once or twice daily
during normal continuous operation. Th e
unit must be in operation to perform fi lter cleaning. Loose
the tube from the suction pipe and press the plastic cage
against the black stop head on the exhaust channel so that
maximum pressure is created in the cyclone.
Open the port on the side o the unit three to six times. Th is
reverse pulse of air cleans the fi lter.
Th e machine can be used both with or without collection
sack.
Th e collection sack should only be changed after the
cleaning of the fi lters. Th e collection sack must be tied off
when it is removed from the container. Use only original
Dustcontrol spare parts. Th ere should not be any fold on
the container border. Th e tightness make that the sac does
not being sucked.

Connect the sub-
When remounting the motor top and the cyclone on
the container the hose inlet should be pointed according
to the picture beside.
For best result:
-Secure that no air is between the bag and the barrel
when you apply the bag.
-Secure that no air is leaking between the bag and the
barrel when you are using the machine.
