Function and application

The electric linear module type HME−... is a handling axis with roller bearing guide
and integrated linear motor. The linear motor 2 moves the drive rod aB backwards
and forwards. By means of a fixed connection the guide tubing also moves. The
linear motor and the separate sensor measuring system supply signals to the con
troller type SFC−LAC−...
The measuring system, controller and motor operate in a closed−loop control cir
cut. This enables the motor (only with SFC−LAC−... with field bus) to regulate to
specified set values for speed, position and force within the permitted stroke
range with a high degree of accuracy.
The electric linear module type HME−... has been designed to be used in conjunc
tion with controller type SFC−LAC−... for handling tasks which requre a high degree
of positioning accuracy. It is not intended for manufacturing processes which are
sensitive to copper or PTFE.
