Introduction

Read and understand the operator's manual
for the battery and the battery charger.

To charge the battery
CAUTION:
Connect the battery charger
to a power outlet with the voltage and
frequency that is specified on the rating
plate.
1. Connect the power cord to the battery charger.
2. Connect the battery charger to a grounded power
outlet. The charging LED flashes one time. (Fig. 30)

3. Connect the battery to the battery charger. The
charging LED comes on. Charge the battery for
maximum 24 hours. (Fig. 32) (Fig. 33)
4. Push the battery indictaor button. The battery is fully
charged when all the LED indicators come on.
5. Pull the power plug to disconnect thr battery charger
from the power outlet. Do not pull the power cord.
6. Remove the battery from the battery charger.
To do before you start the product
1. Examine the work area. Remove objects that can be
thrown out.
2. Examine the cutting attachment. Make sure that the
blades are sharp, and have no cracks and damages.

The display shows the state of charge and if there are
problems with the battery.

3. Make sure that the product works correctly. Examine
that all nuts and screws are tight.
4. Make sure that the handle and safety devices are
not damaged and are attached correctly. Do not
operate a product with missing parts or is changed
from its initial specification. Use protective gloves
when it is necessary.
5. Make sure that the covers are not damaged and are
attached correctly, before you operate the product.
To start the product
1. Push the start/stop button until the green LED comes
on. (Fig. 34)
2. Push the front handle trigger on the front handle.

3. Push the power trigger. (Fig. 25)
To operate the product
1. Start near the ground and move the product up
along the hedge when you cut the sides. Make sure
that the body of the product does not touch the
hedge. (Fig. 36)
