Troubleshooting
Error
Sealing frame leaking

Cause
Sealing frame is partly on
the head cover

Remedy
Check with the fingers and, if necessary, pull parts of the
head cover forwards under the sealing frame.

Re-tighten individual straps. For further information, see

Have the sealing frame replaced by authorised specialist
personnel.
Have them checked by specialist personnel and repaired
if necessary
Visually inspect exhalation valve and replace or clean as
necessary. For further information, see the following chap-
ter: "Maintenance", page 23.
Replace the O-ring
Check for a correct fit; if necessary, re-insert the connec-
tor until the spring audibly engages in the plug-in connec-
tor
Cleaning
Tighten the nut inside
Grasp the connector on the outside of the visor and
tighten it in a clockwise direction (only gently by hand!)
