2. Align the inner mask. It must fit centrally in the nose
indentations of the visor and must not have any
bulges. Bulges in the shape of the inner mask
indicate that the mask is not fully inserted in the
holder. The hole for the blow-off valve (see arrow)
must sit directly beneath the corresponding hole in
the inner mask.
4.1.2 Fitting the earphone/microphone unit
1. Insert the microphone in the right-hand plug-in
connector of the full face mask.
2. Rotate the microphone such that the cables for the
earphones lead directly in the direction of the
respective earphone pockets.
3. Insert the earphones in the earphone pockets and
seal the pockets with the press studs.
4.1.3 Fitting the microphone cable
Once both earphones have been secured in the
appropriate pockets, the cable for the left ear is secured
at two further points to avoid possible view restrictions
and damage to the protruding cable. Route the cable
under the support plate which supports the visor frame
above the middle connector. To do this, bend the lower
part of the mask body to the rear until you can place the
cable behind the support plate. The cable is also guided
through the clamping eyelet on the left half of the head.
To do this, undo the clamping eyelet from the button
and guide the cable through. Then rebutton the
clamping eyelet.
4.2 Placing the full face mask on
the head
1
1. Open all the straps of the head harness wide.
2. The central connector must be open at least wide
enough to allow you to breathe.
3. Place your chin in the chin rest, guide the head
harness over your head and press the full face mask
in front of your face so that the sealing frame is flush
to your face.
4. Tighten both neck straps one after the other evenly
at the rear (Figure 1).
5. Tighten both temple straps one after the other
evenly at the rear (Figure 2).
6. Pull the front strap slightly to the rear to adjust it
(Figure 3).
4.2.1 Checking that the full face mask is
sealed
1. Seal mask connectors with dummy plugs or diving
regulators whose gas supply is not open. The
connector for the mechanical residual pressure
alarm must also be sealed.
2. Breath in until negative pressure is created.
3. Hold your breath briefly. The negative pressure
should be retained; if this does not happen, tighten
the straps.
4. Repeat the sealing test twice.
Only dive if the full face mask is fully sealed!
4.2.2 Checking that the nose pieces are
working
1. Press both levers on the outside of the visor
inwards.
