a) Selecting the measuring leads
Select the measuring lead combination suitable for your usage purpose. The measuring leads
can optionally be combined with probe tips or with alligator clips.
The plugs of the measuring leads are provided with transport protection caps. Remove these
before assembly.
For safety reasons, the alligator clips may only be plugged directly onto the
measuring leads. Contact between the alligator clips and the probe tips is not
permitted.
For long-term measurements or for measurement of the polarization index and the
dielectric absorption rate, we recommend using the alligator clips.
Optionally, you can use a remote trip measuring lead. This measuring lead enables the
measurement to be activated directly at the probe tip. This measuring lead is plugged
into the socket combination (8) and (9) or (5) and (4). This optional remote trip measur-
ing lead MS-ET-200 can be ordered using Order No. 1359985.
