2B RECALL
The button switches to the read function. If memory cells are occupied, these can be
selected with the two arrow buttons. Pressing the button again ends the read function
and switches back to the memory mode.
2C HOLD
The HOLD function causes the current measured value to be retained in the display for
better reading. To do this, press the "HOLD" button briefly during a measurement. An
inversely displayed "H" appears in the display. To deactivate, briefly press the "HOLD"
button again. You can continue with the measurement. The "OFF" rotary switch position
also switches off this function.
A long press (>2s) activates the display lighting. This remains switched on until it is
switched off with another long press (>2s) or by the meter being switched off automati-
cally or manually.
2D COMP/ZERO
The "COMP" button enables the presetting of the good/bad limit values in the insulation
measurement mode. A brief press activates the function. "COMP:" and the corresponding
resistance limit value appear in the display. Every additional brief press switches to the
next higher resistance value. The range is from 100 kΩ to 10 GΩ. After the value of
10 GΩ, the function is deactivated. The display clears.
A long press (>2s) sets the lead resistance to zero (ZERO) in the low-ohm measurement
range "Ω" in the case of short-circuited measuring leads. "ZERO" appears in the display.
Every additional measurement is now carried out without the lead resistance.
2E PI/DAR
Using this button, you can activate the function to measure and calculate the polarization
index (PI) and the dielectric absorption rate (DAR) in the "Insulation Measurement" func-
tion. The polarization index and the dielectric absorption rate give information about the
quality of the insulation. The insulation resistance measured after the given times is used
for calculation (example: R after 15s / R after 1 minute).
