3. Introduction

Why use a daylight lamp?
Natural spectrum daylight may help to reduce the effects associated with Winter Blues, jet lag, shift work
and seasonal time changes and boost your sense of well-being.

5. To Set Up

Remove plastic wrapping and check the device for damage. If you notice any damage, contact customer
service at 1-800-536-0366.
1. Place the device on a flat, level, stable, hard surface so that it will be 3.9 – 7.8 in (10 – 20 cm) away from
you during use.
2. To prevent product damage, only use the supplied power adapter.
3. Insert the round power adapter plug into the Adapter Socket (marked ) on the rear of the Daylight Lamp.
Connect the power adapter to a standard 110 VAC electrical outlet.

6. To Use

1. Remove the Stand from its storage slot.
2. Clip on the Stand to the side of the housing. The orientation/angle of the Daylight Lamp changes depend-
ing on where you attach the Stand, which enables you to tailor the angle as desired. The Stand can be
attached to either the long or short side.
3. Press the On/Off Button.
4. Sit 3.9 – 7.8 in (10 – 20 cm) from the lamp. You can go about your normal activities while using it, such as
reading, writing, making telephone calls, etc.
Usage duration depends on the distance; the closer you are to the light, the less time you should use it.

5. Periodically look directly into the light briefly. Do not stare directly at the light for extended periods, since
that could lead to overstimulation of the retina.
