In case we have not installed the sanitary hot water to our boiler, it will work in the same way, but taking into account as reference only the
room set temperature or remote input.
In both cases the boiler or thermo-stove must be set, first of all, in "Stand-by mode". In the event of having a period of time, (established by
the manufacturer), without demand for hot water, our boiler does modulate down and turn off until it has a new demand and it will show in the
display the message "Waiting Demand". See drawing D44.
Depending on the chosen sensor inputs (1 or 2 or 3) in the "Stand-by
mode" of operation different screens will be seen.
When in "Stand-by mode", on the display we will see either room
temperature displayed (see D46) or the message H2O meaning
water temperature (and the water temperature displayed to its right).
For Thermo-stoves Carlota and Karina we can choose to display
H2O by choosing 1 or the sensor temperature from the list below.
1 is when water temperature is chosen as the default sensor input.
2 is when a room thermostat sensor is the default sensor input
3 is when the onboard room temperature sensor is the default input.
IMPORTANT: when the boiler is switched-off, at the moment that Sanitary Hot Water or heating system demand is
received, the circulating pump will start working and the boiler will turn on, on condition that the temperature is below the
temperature set point.
10.4.8.

MENU 7. SOUND MODE

By activating this mode, the boiler will emit a sound when the system detects a fault and goes into the alarm state. To access to this menu you
have to confirm with button nº 3 "SET" and then, choose "on" with buttons nº 1 and 2 (see drawing D45).
10.4.9.

MENU 8. INITIAL LOAD

In case that the boiler or thermo-stove has run out of fuel/pellets, in
order to avoid a possible restart problem it is possible to carry out a
fuel pre-load for a maximum of 90 seconds to load the auger feeder.
This can be used when the boiler or thermo-stove is switched off
and cold. To start the pre-load, press button nº 2 and to stop it press
button nº 4 (see drawing D46).
It is very important that the burner is totally empty and
clean when you start the boiler or thermo-stove. So, when
the auger preload is finished, you must check that the
burner is clear of fuel in order to achieve correct ignition
of the boiler or thermo-stove.
10.4.10.

MENU 9. STOVE STATE

It shows the current state of the boiler and provides
information about the devices connected. In this way,
the user can get some technical information. The next
screens are seen automatically (see drawing D47, D48,
D49 and D50).
