• External room thermostat (TERMOS. AMBIENTE)
• Buffer store or SHW (Sanitary Hot Water) thermostat. (TERMOS. ACS)
• 3-way motorised valve:
- "P2" servomotor connexion to activate the heating circuit.
- "P2" servomotor connexion to activate the SHW circuit.
- "F" Power supply.
In order for the boiler or thermo-stove to obey the demand of any external thermostat, heating or SHW, the menu 6 "stand-by
mode" must be placed in position "on". See section 10.4.7.
It is important that the thermostats connected are "VOLT FREE"; it means that they cannot carry voltage. Otherwise, the
electronic circuit board of the boiler and some of its components will suffer irreversible damages.
8.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AUXILIARY FUEL TANK

8.1. HYDROALASKA-21, HYDROBALTICA-27, AND HYDROBALTICA-34
The following is a list of steps to follow for the correct installation of boiler models Hydroalaska-21, Hydrobaltica-27 and
Hydrobaltica-34 and their auxiliary fuel tank.
- After unpacking the boiler it is recommended (choice of the fitter) to do all the hydraulic, electric and
chimney installation, before placing the auxiliary tank.
- After the correct installation of the boiler we will proceed to install the tank. First of all, install the pellet
auger housing on the tank with the screws provided, as we can see in drawing D15.
- After this, as we can see, the right side chamber of the boiler has a considerable opening through which
the auger must be inserted, it is necessary to move the hopper tank laterally to mate the two. See drawing
D16.
- We can see that in the front side protrudes a pipe provided with a metallic flange / clamp. See drawing
D17.
- It is necessary to align the outlet of the auger with the protrusion from the combustion chamber in such a
way that there is as straight a fall of pellets as possible to avoid possible blockages. See drawing D18.
- After this, we will introduce the end of the polyurethane tube on the endless-screw of the tank and we will tighten the clamp.
- We can also see through the hole a pair of loose cables and united with a stick where it is possible to read "Motorreductor depósito
(geared motor of the tank)" and which must be connected to the geared motor. The polarity of the cable is not relevant; you can either
way round..
- Finally you should check that the distance between the boiler and the tank is less than 1 cm and the height of both units is very similar.
Otherwise, you will need to adjust them by using the levelling feet provided on the boiler and the tank. After checking everything is
correctly installed the boiler will be ready to work.
8.2 CARLOTA-H, KARINA-H, HYDROPOLAR-21, HYDROARTICA
27 AND 34
Optionally, for these models, you can purchase a 1000 litre capacity joining
tank. In the tank you can find the instructions in order to connect it to the
thermostove or boiler.
9.

STARTUP

The electronic regulation set is very important for energy saving. It is
compulsory that the first commissioning is always done by qualified engineer during the start-up. At the same time, in order to guarantee an
optimal performance, the boiler and its components have to be received in situ by an authorised specialised technician.
Before connecting the boiler to the mains power, you need to check every point of the following list:
