• Temporal Power loss or temporary failure
After a short power loss, the equipment will restart automatically. However in the event of a lack of electricity the boiler or
thermo-stove may give off a small amount of smoke inside the room for a period of approximately 3-5 minutes. THIS DOES
NOT ENTAIL ANY HEALTH RISK. This is a reason why Bronpi advises, whenever possible, to connect the primary air inlet
pipe to the exterior of the house in order to assure that the boiler or thermo-stove does not give off smokes after a short power
loss.

Electrical protection

The boiler or thermo-stove is protected against abrupt electricity oscillations through a general fuse placed in the switch
placed in the rear part. (4A250V Retarded) (See drawing D1).
• Smoke outlet protection
The electronic pressure switch blocks the operation of the boiler or thermo-stove in the event of an abrupt change of
the pressure inside the combustion chamber (door opening, breakdown of the smoke extraction motor, etc). If this
happens, the machine will go into an alarm state (see drawing D2).
• Protection in the event of high temperature inside the fuel storage tank (80ºC)
In the event that the inside of the pellet tank overheats this device stops the operation of the machine.
The restart needs to be done manually by an authorised technician (see drawing D3).
The replacement of the 80ºC thermal protection sensor on the pellet hopper is not included in the
warranty unless the authorised technician can demonstrate a faulty component to the statisfaction
of Bronpi's technical centre.

Water overheating protection (90ºC)
IF the water temperature inside the boiler circuit reaches between near about 90ºC, the fuel loading is
cut by the water overheat safety sensor. If the temperature gauge is activated, restart needs to be done
manually by an authorised technician (see drawing D4).
The replacement of the 90ºC water overheat safety sensor is not included in the warranty unless
theauthorised technician can demonstrate a faulty component to the satisfaction of Bronpi's
technical centre.

Your boiler or thermo-stove has a flow sensor (see drawing D5) placed inside
the inlet of the primary air supply pipe that detects the proper circulation of
fresh air to the combustion chamber and the smoke exhaust. In the event that insufficient air is supplied (due to
incorrect smoke outlet or improper air intake), the sensor sends a "cut out" signal.
The OASYS TECHNOLOGY (Optimum Air System) ensures a constant combustion by controlling automatically
the chimney draw or draught calculated from the flue characteristics (curves, length, diameter, etc) and the

environmental conditions (wind, humidity, atmospheric pressure, etc). To that
end, the fitter must access the technical menu and introduce the sea level in metres for the geographical
location of the equipment .

System water pressure transducer
If the pressure of the heating system is lower than 0.4 bars, the boiler will cease feeding fuel and
ultimately close down and stop. If the pressure inside the heating system exceeds 2.5 bars, the display
will show the alarm "WATER PRESSURE FAILURE". To reset the safety device press button no. 4 (On/Off) on the display for, at least, 3 or 4
seconds (see drawing D6).
Warning: the presence of air in the heating circuit can provoke activation of the system water pressure transducer. If the sensor trigger
and ceases to feed fuel to the machine, the alarms related to the lack of fuel may activate.
In order to get a proper performance of the product, the ideal pressure of the installation should be set at, approximately, 1.0-1.4 bars when
the installation is cold. Furthermore, it is necessary to ensure the absence of air in the heating system. Bronpi Calefacción advises to have an
adequate air purged circuit within the installation. The operation of air purging inside the installation is not included in the warranty.
• Installation Safety Devices
It is COMPULSORY to have a system pressure gauge to visualize the water pressure of the heating circuit.
The closed expansion vessel of the installation should have a dimension between 4 and 6% of the total volume of the
installation. The integral boiler mounted closed expansion vessel is likely to be inadequate for the central heating
circuit..

FUELS

In order to guarantee a proper combustion, it is necessary to use quality combustible materials that meet the stated
standards.. The use of combustible materials in which breach the specifications mentioned below implies the cancellation
of the warranty and the manufacturer's responsibility for the product.
If you use combustible materials according to the present specification, we guarantee an impeccable working and good performance values
of the installation. In the event of not knowing a distributor able to supply materials meeting these criteria, we would kindly inform you about
the distributors that you may be interested in.
