PELLET

-
Quality standard
Only wood pellets certified by these standards or certifications should be used:
Standards:
Ö-Norm M 7135 | Din 51731 | EN-14962-2 (all repealed and included in ISO-17225-2)
ISO-17225-2
Quality certifications:
DIN+
ENplus: on the web site (www.pelletenplus.es) you can check all manufacturers and distributors with certificate.
It is strongly recommended that the pellet is certified with quality certifications because this is the only way to guarantee the
constant quality of the pellet.
Moreover, it must comply with the following requirements:
Diameter: The pellet diameter should not be either lower than 6 mm or higher than 8 mm.
Minimum length: The weight proportion corresponding to those wood pellets with a length lower than 10 mm should not exceed 20% of
the total combustible mass.
Additional requirements to combustible materials:
-
Ash sintering point: The ash sintering point should be higher than 1100°C.
-
Ash fusion point: The ash fusion point should be higher than 1200°C.
-
Ash softening point: The ash softening point should be higher than 1150°C.
-
Transport and storage
However, the most important thing is to fulfil the transportation rules, since it is possible to damage good quality pellets just by handling them
in the wrong way during the transportation or the pouring in the hopper. The pellets transportation to the final customer, or to the intermediate
distributor, and the subsequent distribution are ruled by the "EN15234 pellets transportation and storage" . Please, only choose suppliers
who transport and storage pellets according to these rules.

OLIVE STONE

-
Quality standard
The olive stone must comply with the characteristics described by the standards or certifications.
Standards:
UNE 164003. Spanish standard for the olive stone.
Quality certifications:
BIOmasud. On the web site (http://biomasud.eu ) you can check all manufacturers and distributors with certificate.
It is strongly recommended that the olive stone is certified with quality certifications because this is the only way to guarantee the
constant quality of the olive stone.
The olive stone must comply with the following requirements:
-
The level of humidity in the stone should be between 8 and 10%. If the combustible does not have the appropriate humidity it could
generate some oils during the combustion. This will make the combustion chamber of the stove very dirty and generate corrosion.
-
It must be dry.
-
It must not contain any oil.
-
The grain size of the stone should be between 3 and 4 mm.
-
The combustion burner has to be the right one for the olive stone combustion. Normally, the olive stone generates a bigger waste
of ashes and uncombusted stone residue than pellets. This is why it is so important to clean the burner daily and to do a deep
cleaning of the stove every 6 months rather than once a year.

SAFETY RULES DURING INSTALLATION

The way of installing the boiler or thermo-stove will affect the safety and the proper operation. For this reason, it is essential that the
installation is carried out by qualified installers who are trained to make an installation compliant with local safety and installation regulations.
European, national, regional, provincial and municipal regulations.
Flue installations or smoke evacuation systems T must be controlled before the installation with respect to the following:
Prohibitions relating to the installation.
Legal distances.
Limits established by the local administration rules or generals provisions of the relevant authorities.
Conventional limits derived from the owner's community rules or contracts.
Overall, the installation must comply with all the regulation applicable according to local, national and European laws.
If your equipment is not properly installed, it may cause serious damage.
Before the installation, carry out the next series of checks:
Make sure that the floor can sustain the weight of the equipment and make a proper thermal isolation in the case that the floor is made
of flammable material (wood) or a material that can be affected by a thermal shock (plaster , for example).
If the equipment is installed on a floor which is not completely refractory or inflammable such as parquet, carpet, etc, it is necessary
