Connection fault
If the interconnected CO alarm connection fails, the green light will flash 3 times once every minute.
However, the CO alarm will still be able to effectively detect the carbon monoxide.
How to silence interconnected alarms
When an interconnected CO alarm has been activated, find the originating interconnected CO alarm,
which will be the one both emitting the audio signal and displaying the "ALARM" message. Mute this
originating alarm by pressing its test/silence button, and within 40s the remaining interconnected CO
alarms will go back to standby.
Note: if you press the test/silence button on one of the interconnected CO alarms other than the
originating alarm, it will be silenced, but the remaining CO alarms will continue sounding an alarm.
12. Maintenance
The interconnected CO alarm does not require any maintenance other than to clean the outside case
occasionally with a clean tissue. Ensure that the holes on the front of the interconnected CO alarm are
not blocked with dust or dirt. We recommend to manually test the interconnected CO alarm once a
month by pressing and holding the TEST/SILENE button. Due to the loudness of the alarm, make sure that
you always stand at arm's length distance from the unit when testing. If problems are found, the
interconnected CO alarm switches to the error mode (either siren error or sensor error). Dust is a major
cause of false alarms. Therefore, clean the interconnected CO alarm once a month. Use a vacuum cleaner
to gently remove any accumulated dust along the sides of the interconnected CO alarm. Never use a wet
cloth or detergent to clean your interconnected CO alarm, as this can be harmful to the sensor.
13. Warnings
This manual contains important safety information about the installation and operation of the
interconnected CO alarm. Read the manual carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference. The
interconnected CO alarm should be installed by a competent person. Installation of an interconnected CO
alarm should not be used as a substitute for proper installation, use and maintenance of fuel burning
appliances including appropriate ventilation and exhaust systems. This interconnected CO alarm is not
water resistant and is only suitable for indoor use. Do not try to repair the interconnected CO alarm, it
has the risk of electric shock or malfunction if the interconnected CO alarm is tampered with. Do not
