10 Alarmfunktionen
10.1 Externer Alarm
Ein externer Alarm wird durch einen an der Buchse
„EXTERNAL I/O" (23) angeschlossenen Alarmsen-
sor ausgelöst. Dazu muss die Funktion „externer
Alarm" eingeschaltet sein (siehe Zeile „ALARM
ENABLE" im Menü „ALARM" – Kap. 9.1.4).
Während der Alarmzeit (eingestellt in der Zeile
„ALARM DURATION" des Menüs „ALARM"):
1. schaltet der Recorder auf Alarmaufnahme, wenn
nicht gerade eine Wiedergabe läuft (siehe dazu
auch Kap. 7.4),
2. ertönt der interne Alarmsummer, wenn er nicht im
Menü „SYSTEM" (Kap. 9.1.7) in der Menüzeile
„BUZZER" ausgeschaltet wurde,
(Soll der Summer vor dem Ablauf der eingestell-
ten Alarmzeit ausgeschaltet werden, irgendeine
Taste am Recorder betätigen.)
3. erscheint im Quad-Bild für die betroffene Kamera
die Einblendung „!", solange das Alarmsignal am
Alarmeingang anliegt
und für die Kanäle, an denen keine Kameras an-
geschlossen sind, wird „x" eingeblendet,
4. schaltet das interne Alarmrelais ein und kann
über die Buchse „EXTERNAL I/O" (23) einen
Alarmgeber aktivieren (siehe Kap. 4.3).
Nach Ablauf der Alarmdauer werden alle Alarmvor-
gänge zurückgesetzt.
Hinweis: Ist „MESSAGE LATCH" im Menü „SYS-
TEM" eingeschaltet, bleibt, auch wenn der Alarm be-
endet ist, die Meldung „!" so lange eingeblendet, bis
kein Alarmsignal mehr am Alarmeingang anliegt und
für Kanäle ohne angeschlossene Kameras wird
ständig „x" eingeblendet.
10.2 Alarm bei Bildverlust
Bei Bildverlust an einem Kamerakanal, d. h. Unter-
brechung der Video- oder Stromleitung einer ange-
schlossenen Kamera, wird Alarm ausgelöst. Der Re-
corder erstellt einen Eintrag über den Zeitpunkt des
10 Alarm Functions
10.1 External alarm
An external alarm is triggered by an alarm sensor
connected to the jack "EXTERNAL I/O" (23). For
this purpose the function "external alarm" must be
activated (see line "ALARM ENABLE" in the menu
"ALARM" – chapter 9.1.4).
During the alarm time (set in the line "ALARM
DURATION" of the menu "ALARM"):
1. the recorder switches to alarm recording if a re-
cording is not being played at present (also see
chapter 7.4),
2. the internal buzzer sounds if it has not been
switched off in the menu "SYSTEM" (chapter
9.1.7) in the menu line "BUZZER",
(For switching off the buzzer before the end of the
alarm time set, actuate any key on the recorder.)
3. the message "!" appears in the quad picture for
the camera concerned as long as the alarm sig-
nal is available at the alarm input
and for the channels to which no cameras are
connected the message "x" is inserted,
4. the internal alarm relay is switched on and can
activate an alarm device via the jack "EXTER-
NAL I/O" (23) [see chapter 4.3].
After the alarm duration has expired, all alarm pro-
ceedings are reset.
Note: If "MESSAGE LATCH" has been activated in
the menu "SYSTEM", the message "!" remains dis-
played, even if the alarm has ended, until no alarm
signal is available at the alarm input any longer. For
channels to which no cameras are connected the
message "x" is permanently displayed.
10.2 Alarm in case of video loss
In case of video loss at one camera channel, i. e. in-
terruption of the video line or power line of a con-
nected camera, alarm will be triggered. The recorder
makes an entry about the time of the video loss in an

Nach Ablauf der Alarmdauer werden alle Alarmvor-
gänge zurückgesetzt.
Hinweis: Ist „MESSAGE LATCH" im Menü „SYS-
TEM" eingeschaltet, bleibt, auch wenn der Alarm be-
endet ist, die Meldung „x" für die betroffene Kamera
so lange eingeblendet, bis am Kameraeingang wie-
der ein Videosignal anliegt. Für Kanäle ohne ange-
schlossene Kameras wird ständig „x" eingeblendet.
10.3 Alarmzurücksetzung
Zur Alarmzurücksetzung vor Ablauf der Alarmdauer:
1. entweder die Stopptaste
(4) drücken oder
2. ein Alarm-Reset-Signal, 0-V-TTL-Signal oder
Schließkontakt (NO), auf Pin 14 der Buchse „EX-
TERNAL I/O" (23) geben (die Funktion „externer
Alarm" muss dazu eingeschaltet sein – siehe
Zeile „ALARM ENABLE" im Menü „ALARM").
11 Befehlsübersicht für die Computer-
Schnittstelle
Die jeweilige Schnittstelle und die Übertragungsrate
für die Fernsteuerung des Recorders über einen
Computer oder ein Bedienpult können im Menü „RE-
event list which can be called via the OSD menu
(menu "EVENT" – chapter 9.1.8).

10.3 Reset of an alarm
To reset the alarm before the end of the alarm dura-
tion:
1. either press the stop key
(4) or
2. apply an alarm reset signal, 0 V TTL signal, or
closing contact (NO) to pin 14 of the jack "EX-
TERNAL I/O" (23) [the function "external alarm"
must be activated for this purpose – see line
"ALARM ENABLE" in the menu "ALARM"].
11 List of Commands for the Computer
Interface
The corresponding interface and the baud rate for
the remote control of the recorder via a computer or
a control desk can be selected in the menu "RE-
MOTE" in der Zeile „REMOTE MODE" bzw. „BAUD
kann

Jedem Datenbyte (bestehend aus 8 Datenbits)
geht 1 Startbit voraus und 1 Stoppbit folgt. Es wird
kein Paritätsbit übertragen.
Jeder Befehl besteht aus den folgenden 5 Daten-
bytes:
