Auf dieser Menüseite werden Alarmeinstellungen
durchgeführt.
„ALARM ENABLE":
Ein-/Ausschalten der Funktion „Externer Alarm"
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„ALARM ENABLE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Alarm-
funktion ein- („YES") oder ausschalten („NO").
Bei eingeschalteter Alarmfunktion laufen bei
einem Alarmsignal an einem der vier Alarmein-
gänge [Pins 3, 4, 5, 6 der Buchse „EXTERNAL
I/O" (23)] die in Kapitel 10.1 „Externer Alarm" be-
schriebenen Alarmvorgänge ab.
Ist die Alarmfunktion ausgeschaltet, reagiert
der Recorder nicht auf ein Alarmsignal.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„ALARM DURATION":
Einstellen der Alarmdauer bei externem Alarm und
Alarm bei Unterbrechung eines Kamerasignals
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„ALARM DURATION" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die ge-
wünschte Alarmdauer auswählen. Zur Auswahl
stehen:
„10 SEC", „15 SEC", „20 SEC", „30 SEC", „1 MIN",
„2 MIN", „3 MIN", „5 MIN", „10 MIN", „15 MIN",
„30 MIN" oder „ALWAYS" (Daueralarm).
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.

On this menu page alarm settings are made.
"ALARM ENABLE":
Activation/deactivation of the function "External
Alarm"
1) Select the line "ALARM ENABLE" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Activate ("YES") or deactivate ("NO") the alarm
function with the cursor key "Up" or "Down".
With the alarm function activated, in case of
an alarm signal at one of the four alarm inputs
[pins 3, 4, 5, 6 of the jack "EXTERNAL I/O" (23)]
the alarm proceedings described in chapter 10.1
"External alarm" are made.
With the alarm function deactivated, the re-
corder will ignore any alarm signal.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"ALARM DURATION"
Setting of the alarm duration in case of external
alarm and alarm in case of interruption of a cam-
era signal
1) Select the line "ALARM DURATION" with the cur-
sor key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the desired alarm duration with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down". The following alarm duration
is available:
"10 SEC", "15 SEC", "20 SEC", "30 SEC", "1 MIN",
"2 MIN", "3 MIN", "5 MIN", "10 MIN", "15 MIN",
"30 MIN", or "ALWAYS" (permanent alarm).
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.

Unter „RECORD IPS" wird die Aufnahmegeschwin-
digkeit, unter „QUALITY" die Aufnahmequalität und
unter „RECORD MODE" das Aufnahmeformat für
die Alarmaufnahme eingestellt. Für die Aufnahme im
Alarmfall sollten Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit und Auf-
nahmequalität möglichst hoch gewählt werden. Zum
Durchführen der Einstellungen siehe Kap. 9.1.3
unter „RECORD IPS", „QUALITY" und „RECORD
MODE".
Zum Verlassen der Menüseite die Taste „MENU"
drücken.

Auf dieser Menüseite werden die Einstellungen für
die Betriebsart „automatische Bildumschaltung" (sie-
he Kap. 6.2) vorgenommen.
„DWELL TIME":
Einstellung der Bild-Verweildauer
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„DWELL TIME" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die ge-
wünschte Bild-Verweildauer (1 – 10 s) auswählen.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„CH 1", „CH 2", „CH 3", „CH 4" und „QUAD":
Freigabe der einzelnen vier Kamerakanäle und
des Quad-Bildes für die automatische Bildum-
schaltung
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die jewei-
lige Zeile anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
Under "RECORD IPS" the recording speed is set,
under "QUALITY" the recording quality, and under
"RECORD MODE" the recording format for the
alarm recording. For the recording in case of alarm,
recording speed and recording quality should be se-
lected as high as possible. For making the settings
see chapter 9.1.3 under "RECORD IPS", "QUAL-
ITY", and "RECORD MODE".
To exit the menu page, press the key "MENU".

"DWELL TIME":
Setting of the dwell time of pictures
1) Select the line "DWELL TIME" with the cursor key
"Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the desired dwell time of pictures (1 – 10 s)
with the cursor key "Up" or "Down".
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"CH 1", "CH 2", "CH 3", "CH 4", and "QUAD":
Release of the individual four camera channels
and the quad picture for the automatic switching
of pictures
1) Select the respective line with the cursor key "Up"
or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Use the cursor key "Up" or "Down" to select the
option "YES" (the respective picture is displayed
during the automatic switching of pictures) or

eine Fernsteuerung per Computer oder Bedienpult
durchgeführt.
„REMOTE MODE":
Auswahl der Schnittstelle
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„REMOTE MODE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" diejenige Schnittstelle auswählen, die für
die Fernsteuerung per Computer oder Bedienpult
verwendet werden soll: RS-232 oder RS-485.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„BAUD RATE":
Einstellen der Übertragungsrate
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„BAUD RATE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die für die Fernsteuerung verwendete
Übertragungsrate auswählen. Gewählt werden
kann zwischen:
"NO" (the respective picture is skipped during the
automatic switching of pictures).
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.

mote control by computer or control desk.
"REMOTE MODE":
Selection of the interface
1) Select the line "REMOTE MODE" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Press the cursor key "Up" or "Down" to select the
interface to be used for the remote control by
computer or control desk: RS-232 or RS-485.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"BAUD RATE":
Setting of the transmission rate
1) Select the line "BAUD RATE" with the cursor key
"Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the baud rate used for the remote control
with the cursor key "Up" or "Down". The following
baud rates are available:
9600 bps, 19 200 bps, 57 600 bps, 115 200 bps,
1200 bps, 2400 bps, 3600 bps, 4800 bps.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.

Definition of the identification number of the re-
corder
1) Select the line "ID" with the cursor key "Up" or
"Down".
