muss jedem Recorder eine dreistellige Identifika-
tionsnummer (von 001 bis 255) zugewiesen wer-
den. Die Grundeinstellung ist „000".
Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die
Nummer einstellen.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"

Auswahl des Audioeingangs

2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.

ers, a three-digit identification number (from 001

On this menu page the following general system set-
tings can be made:
"AUDIO INPUT":
Selection of the audio input
1) Select the line "AUDIO INPUT" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select one of the four audio channels 1 – 4 with
the cursor key "Up" or "Down". Only this audio
channel is recorded or reproduced.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"BUZZER":
Activation/deactivation of the internal alarm buzzer
1) Select the line "BUZZER" with the cursor key
"Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the option "ON" or "OFF" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" einen der vier Audiokanäle 1 – 4 aus-
wählen. Nur dieser Audiokanal wird aufgenom-
men bzw. wiedergegeben.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„BUZZER":
Ein-/Ausschalten des internen Alarmsummers
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„BUZZER" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „ON" oder „OFF" einstellen.
Ist „ON" eingestellt, gibt der Alarmsummer
einen Alarmton ab, wenn das Videoeingangs-
signal von einer angeschlossenen Kamera unter-
brochen wird oder wenn über die Buchse „EX-
TERNAL I/O" (23) ein Alarm ausgelöst wird.
Bei der Einstellung „OFF" ist der Alarmsum-
mer ausgeschaltet.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„HDD OVERWRITE":
Ein-/Ausschalten der Überschreibfunktion
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„HDD OVERWRITE" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „NO" oder „YES" einstellen.
Ist „YES" eingestellt, werden die bisherigen
Aufnahmen überschrieben, wenn die Festplat-
tenkapazität erschöpft ist (Endlos-Aufzeichnung).
Ist „NO" eingestellt, stoppt der Recorder die Auf-
nahme, wenn die Festplattenkapazität erschöpft
ist. In diesem Fall kann das Ausgangssignal am
„Disk Full"-Ausgang [Pin 12 der Buchse „EXTER-
NAL I/O" (23)] als Triggersignal zum Starten
eines zweiten Recorders genutzt werden.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
If "ON" is selected, the alarm buzzer will make
an alarm sound if the video input signal from a
connected camera is interrupted or if an alarm is
triggered via the jack "EXTERNAL I/O" (23).
If "OFF" is selected, the alarm buzzer is
switched off.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"HDD OVERWRITE":
Activation/deactivation of the overwrite function
1) Select the line "HDD OVERWRITE" with the cur-
sor key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the option "NO" or "YES" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
If "YES" is selected, the previous recordings
will be overwritten when the storage capacity of
the hard disk is exhausted (continuous record-
ing). If "NO" is selected, the recorder will stop the
recording when the storage capacity of the hard
disk is exhausted. In this case the output signal at
the "Disk Full" output [pin 12 of the jack "EXTER-
NAL I/O" (23)] can be used as a trigger signal for
starting a second recorder.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"MESSAGE LATCH":
Permanent optical alarm display in the quad pic-
ture in case of external alarm and video loss alarm
1) Select the line "MESSAGE LATCH" with the cur-
sor key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the option "NO" or "YES" by pressing the
cursor key "Up" or "Down".
If "YES" is selected:
– for each channel to which no camera is
connected the message "x" is permanently dis-
played in the quad picture,
– in case of video loss, independent of the alarm
duration set, in the quad picture the message
"x" is displayed in the camera picture con-
cerned as long as the video loss lasts
„MESSAGE LATCH":
Ständige optische Alarmanzeige im Quad-Bild
bei externem Alarm und Bildverlust-Alarm
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„MESSAGE LATCH" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Durch Drücken der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder
„Down" die Option „NO" oder „YES" einstellen.
Bei der Einstellung „YES" wird
– für jeden Kanal, an dem keine Kamera ange-
schlossen ist, im Quad-Bild ständig die Ein-
blendung „x" angezeigt,
– bei einem Bildverlust, unabhängig von der ein-
gestellten Alarmdauer, im Quad-Bild die Ein-
blendung „x" im betroffenen Kamerabild ange-
zeigt, solange Bildverlust besteht,
– bei einem externen Alarm, unabhängig von
der eingestellten Alarmdauer, im Quad-Bild die
Einblendung „!" im betroffenen Kamerabild an-
gezeigt, solange das Alarmsignal an der
Buchse „EXTERNAL I/O" (23) anliegt.
Bei der Einstellung „NO" werden Kanäle ohne
Kameraanschluss nicht durch „x" gekennzeich-
net und die Alarmmeldungen bleiben nur für die
eingestellte Alarmdauer eingeblendet.
4) Die Einstellung durch Drücken der Taste „MENU"
bestätigen.
„DATE DISPLAY":
Einstellung der gewünschten Datumsdarstellung
bzw. Ausblenden des Datums im Quad-Bild
1) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Zeile
„DATE DISPLAY" anwählen.
2) Die Taste „ENTER" drücken.
3) Mit der Cursor-Taste „Up" oder „Down" die Dar-
stellungsart des Datums, d. h. die Reihenfolge
von Tages-, Monats- und Jahreszahl einstellen.
Gewählt werden kann zwischen:
Y – M – D (Jahr – Monat – Tag),
M – D – Y (Monat – Tag – Jahr),
– in case of an external alarm, independent of
the alarm duration set, in the quad picture the
message "!" is displayed in the camera picture
concerned as long as the alarm signal is avail-
able at the jack "EXTERNAL I/O" (23).
If "NO" is selected, the channels without camera
connection are not marked by "x" and the alarm
messages are displayed only for the alarm dura-
tion set.
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"DATE DISPLAY":
Setting of the desired date display or expiration of
the date in the quad picture
1) Select the line "DATE DISPLAY" with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Set the type of date display, i. e. the order of day,
month, and year, with the cursor key "Up" or
"Down". The following options are available:
Y – M – D (year – month – day)
M – D – Y (month – day – year)
D – M – Y (day – month – year)
OFF (no date and time displayed in the picture)
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"DATE":
Setting of the current date
1) Select the line "DATE" with the cursor key "Up" or
"Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
3) Select the four positions for day, month, year, and
weekday successively with the cursor key "Left"
or "Right" and make the settings with the cursor
key "Up" or "Down".
4) Press the key "MENU" to confirm the setting.
"TIME":
Setting of the current time
1) Select the line "TIME" with the cursor key "Up" or
"Down".
2) Press the key "ENTER".
