Drive with care
Before entering traffic, switch on the
direction indicators and make sure that
there are no other vehicles.
Correct riding can prolong the life of your
vehicle.
• Warm up the engine before setting out
and moderate speed while the engine
is cold.
• Avoid brusque acceleration.
• Do not ride for long sections at maxi-
mum speed.
• Use front and rear brakes together.
For the best control of the bike, use the
brake levers progressively, gently to
start with and then more intensely, as
needed.
When the brakes are engaged, the rear
stop light switches on to warn vehicles
behind.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Using the front brake on its own may
cause the bike to slip.
Always use both brakes.

dangerous situations.
Sudden braking or steering can cause
slipping.
Take care when the roads are wet
There is less adherence to a wet road
than to a dry one and the braking distan-
ce increases. Moderate speed and take
care.
Moderate speeds downhill
When travelling downhill, release the
accelerator and reduce speed with
gentle, intermittent brake movements.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Avoid prolonged brake use as this could
cause the brakes to overheat and lose
efficiency.
