been treated and might be con-
taminated with bacteria.
– Do not drink the water.
– Wear industrial safety gloves
if you might have contact with
the water (e.g. when venting).

Testing the GFCI

The unit must be connected only to a supply
circuit that is protected by a groundfault circuit-
interrupter (GFCI). Such a GFCI should be pro-
vided by the installer and should be tested on a
routine basis.
– To test the GFCI, push the test button. The
GFCI should interrupt power.
– Push the reset button. Power should be re-
stored.
If the GFCI fails to operate in this manner, the
GFCI is defective.
If the GFCI interrupts power to the massaging
unit without the test button being pushed, a
ground current is flowing, indicating the possi-
bility of an electric shock.
– Do not use this massaging unit. Disconnect
the massaging unit and have the problem
corrected by a qualified service representa-
tive before using.

Venting

Approx. three (3) days after commissioning,
the tank must be vented.
– Use gloves.
– Open the valve at the base.
– Starting from the top end, move the palm of
your hand over the cloth towards the valve
until water emerges.
– Close the valve.
– Wipe up water that has flowed out.
