WARNING: Make sure that the belt buckle is free from any dirt. Only clean belt locks engage
audibly and safely.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the strap of the three-point belt is neither twisted nor jammed.
Also check the lap belts. These must not be twisted and should be as low as possible above the
child's hip.

4.5. Usage of the infant pad

The infant insert includes a head cushion and an infant wedge-shaped pillow.
The cushions are intended for the special protection of small children with a weight of 9kg -
18kg. We recommend removing these only when the child is too big for them, at least if the child
weighs 18 kg.
Use the provided wedge-shaped pillow until your child weighs 13kg. It supports the fl at reclining
position recommended by orthopaedist.

4.6. Sitting and reclining positions of the child

The HEYNER® children's car seats are fi tted with an adjustment mecha-
nism. The operation is quick and easy with just one hand. By pressing the
positioning handle (PG), you are able to bring the the seat in the desired
position for your child.
• Group 0+/ 1 (backwards): the lying position may only be in step 3
• Group 1 (forward facing): lying position in step 1,2,3
• Group 2/3 (forward facing): lying position in step 3

4.7. Rotation function

The child car seat has a 360 ° rotation function. Seating and taking your
child out of the seat becomes much easier. It can be changed quickly from a
rear to a forward facing car seat.
To turn the seat, you must press the safety button and turn the seat at the
same time.
The seat engages with a clear >> click << sound.

WARNING: Always follow the instructions for rear or forward facing use.
WARNING: Always ensure that the revolving part of the child car seat is locked in the forward or
rear facing position before driving off . To check, try turning the seat without pressing the safety
button.
NOTE: Make sure no dirt is jammed between the seat and the base. This can permanently aff ect
the ease of the rotation.
4.8. Attachment to the vehicle seat with ISOFIX + TopTetther + car 3-point
belt in group 1 (children from 9-18kg)
Place the child car seat on the car seat and adjust it to the forward position.
Follow the instructions in section 4.2. and secure the seat with ISOFIX.
Now take the Top Tether (TT) and guide it under the head rest along to the appropriate Top
Tether anchor point of the car.
This can be found in the instruction manual of the car. Click the Top Tether

into place and pull the belt tightly.

Attention: If the Top Tether (TT) has been correctly fi xed, a green marking
appears on the safety button.
Precaution! Make sure you do not accidentally use the luggage hooks
instead of the Top Tether anchoring point.
Only if the HEYNER® Infi ny TWIST with the ISOFIX anchors (IA) is properly
installed in the car the children's car seat can achieve optimal safety for
your child.
