5.0 Installation
5.1 Allmän installation och anslutningar
MightEvac självindragande säkerhetslina måste
monteras på en förankring ovanför huvudet med hjälp
av lekaren och en låskarbinhake eller andra förankring-
sanslutningar som godkänts av Miller, eller så måste
den användas tillsammans med ett monteringsfäste
från Miller som sedan installeras på ett trebensstativ.
Förankringen måste klara av en dragpåkänning på 22,2
kN. Gå igenom alla varningar och instruktioner när du
väljer plats för montering.
För allmänt fallskydd ansluter du
säkerhetslinans anslutningsände (t.ex.
snäppkarbinhake) till den bakre D-ringen på
helselen.
5.2 Installation av MightEvac på monterings-
fäste
(Ref. Fig. 1)
Steg 1: Ta bort de röda, runda skyddsklistermärkena från båda sidorna av MightEvac-enheten.
Steg 2: För in enhetens lekare i fästena enligt anvisningarna.
Steg 3: För enheten framåt tills de gängade hålen på höljet (där du tog bort klistermärkena) är i fas
med hålen fram på fästet enligt anvisningarna.
För in fästanordningen genom låsbrickan,
brickan och hålet i fästet. Dra åt till
8 +/- 1 ft.-lbs. eller 96 +/- 12 in.-lbs.
(10,9 Nm +/- 1,4 Nm). Upprepa för
andra sidan.
Steg 4: För in sprinten genom fästet i de
avsedda hålen. Då kopplas en-
heten till fästet på ett säkert sätt. Se
till att sprinten sitter säkert genom
båda hålen och håller sig på plats.
Steg 5: Fäst enheten med fästet till lämplig
förankringsenhet från Miller och
säkerställ med sprintarna som
tillhandahålls. Se installationsproce-
durer i avsnitt 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 och
5.7 i den här bruksanvisningen.
