Playing Discs
Depending on the DVD or VIDEO CD, some
operations may be different or restricted.
Refer to the operation details supplied with your
disc.

Turn on your TV.

Switch the input selector on the TV to
this receiver.

Press POWER on the receiver.
The receiver enters standby mode and the
STANDBY indicator lights up in red.

Press Z on the receiver or OPEN/
CLOSE on the remote, and place a disc
with the label side up on the disc tray.
The receiver automatically turns on and the
STANDBY indicator turns off.
Playback side facing down
When you play an 8 cm disc, place
it on the inner circle of the tray

To place other discs, press DISC SKIP
on the receiver. Place the discs in the
order you want to play.
Each time you press the button, the disc tray
turns and you can place the discs in the
empty disc compartments. The receiver
plays the disc in front of you first.

Press H.
The disc tray closes, and the receiver starts
playback.
To play back other disc, press DISC SKIP
or DISC 1-DISC 5.
Adjust the volume on the receiver.
After following Step 6
Depending on the disc, a menu may appear on
the TV screen. You can play the disc
interactively by following the instructions on the
menu. (DVD: page 27), (VIDEO CD: page 27).
To remove the disc
Press Z on the receiver or OPEN/CLOSE on the
remote. "OPEN" appears in the front panel
display. Remove the disc after the disc tray
slides out from the receiver.
