The valve terminal type CPA−SC−DP has been designed for
use exclusively as a slave on the PROFIBUS−DP field bus.
The maximum values specified in the section Technical
specifications" must be observed here. Detailed informa
tion can be found in the manual P.BE−CPASC−CPVSC−DP−..
Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204−1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204−1.
S Earth the valve terminal at the earth connection on
the housing and via pin 5 (screening/shield) for the
power supply.
