3 Preparing the transmitter
If the lithium battery has been removed or if it must be replaced, proceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the housing of the pressure transmitter (A) counterclockwise and remove it.
2. To remove the lithium battery (C), first push the battery down against the contact spring (E), then pull
it up and outwards in the positive pole (B) area, and remove it.
3. To insert the lithium battery (C), first slide the battery down against the contact spring (E) in the area
of the negative pole (D) and then connect the positive pole (B).
4. Retighten the housing of the pressure transmitter (A) clockwise hand-tight (10 ±5 Nm) and make
sure that the seal (F) is fitted correctly.
