The steering system is operated by a chain, which transmits the motion from the sprocket , on the steering co-
lumn, to the crown wheel on the wheel. To adjust any backlash which may occur on the steering wheel, move
the chain tightener by slackening the fi xing nuts 5.

The brakes stop the motor sweeper and keep it stationary on slopes.
The braking system acts on the rear wheels by means of shoes 1 inside the wheels.
The brake pedal is of mechanical type. To lock the pedal in parking position, use lever the locking lever
When the brake shoes tend not to stop the sweeper, regulate the brake by means properly adjuster on each
side of the rear wheels.
