Every 8-10 working hours remove engine fi lters 4 and clean them by means of an air jet.
If the fi lters have already been cleaned several times or if they are irremediably clogged, replace them

CLEANING THE ENGINE COOLER (FIG.5 - pos."B1-B2")
DIESEL, PETROL-LPG Versions:
When the sweeper is operating in a very dusty area, the engine cooler should be checked regularly to make
sure that it is not obstructed.
WARNING!
lClean the fi ns of the radiator body with a brush and diesel fuel at least once a week.
Check that light 24 (fi g. 1) has not gone on indicating that the temperature of the cooling liquid is not too high.
Stop immmediately if this is the case and check the radiator fi ns in the following way:
- Remove the LH side cover of the motor.
- If the fi ns are obstructed, blow compressed air from the back of the cooler pos. "B1" to remove the dust.
- If the dust is not removed by this operation, clean the fi ns with a curved brush and oil from the front of the
cooler pos."B2". Dry with a jet of air.
WARNING!
If the radiator is not the reason for light 24 (fi g.1) going on check the following:
- the level of the cooling liquid.
- possible malfunctions of the fuel solenoid valve, fuel solenoid relay and water temperature sensor.
The sweeper brushes are driven by hydraulic motors which are controlld by lever of the control valve.
1. Brush rotation control lever
2. Side brush raising and lowering lever.
3. Main brush lifting/lowering lever.
4. Main brush hydraulic motor.
5. Side brush hydraulic motor.

SIDE BRUSHES

The side brushes sweep dirt from the edges of fl oors and from corners, and direct it to the centre of the
sweeper where it can be picked up by the main brush.
ADJUSTING THE SIDE BRUSHES (FIG.7)
Check that the shapes (A) of the traces left by the side brushes are as shown in Fig.7.. As the bristles of the
side brushes wear down, adjust the height of the brushes from the fl oor to maintain these traces.
Proceed as follows to adjust the side brushes:
- loosen the screw 1
- move in ahead of a notch the adjusting 2
- tighten the screw 1
The side brushes are fl oating . When they come into contact with unmovable objects (such as pillars, walls,
etc.) the brushes unit retracts, avoiding knocks. This ensures that the brushes are not damaged.
