B MOVING THE CONDITIONING
ROTOR
If the conditioner tends to get frequently clogged when
working in long crops it is recommended to move the rotor to
the rear. Please proceed as follows:
- Dismount the V belts in order to remove the tension from
them.
- Remove the tension from the V belts.
- Dismount the adjusting rod of the tension device by
removing the bolt A (fig. B-1).
- Completely remove the uppermost bolt B (fig. B-2) of the
bearing block (LH and RH).
- Partly untighten the lowermost bolt of the bearing block.
- Displace the conditioner to the rear, from position to
position ‚. Then tighten both bearing blocks again.
- Fit the adjusting rod of the tension device.
- Tighten the belt. Adjust belt tension in such a way, that, if a
70 N (70 kg) force is exerted on the middle, the belt is
pushed in 10 mm (fig. B1).
- Mount the V belt.
- Mount and lock the bushes (C) which limit the most
extreme position of the crop inlet plate. (fig. B-3).
Rearmost position: one bush at the top of the securing clip
and one bush at the bottom of the securing clip (dis-
placement of the crop inlet plate must be possible so create
more threads for turning the spindle).
