8.2 Lubrication of compressors
Use oil with
ISO VG = 100 and viscosity cSt at 40° of 100,
to maintain the compressor in excellent operating condition.
For SNOW or SUFAG applications, use mineral oil with
ISO VG = 32 and viscosity cSt at 40° of 30
to maintain the compressor in excellent operating condition.
Traditional lubricants are unsuitable for piston compressors operating under extreme conditions; in fact,
they can cause rapid oil deterioration, overheating, potentially irreversible damage and can imply high
repair costs. High performance lubricants instead, will lengthen the equipment's service life.
8.3 Maintenance kit
Maintenance kits are available offering advantages guaranteed by original spares and at reduced main-
