5. Furthermore, in compressors equipped with Dryer, take switch E2 to the I position to start the dryer
of the refrigerant (Fig. 4). After approx. 10 minutes, the rated dew point will be reached.

In order to guarantee optimal operative efficiency, avoid pressing the on / off switch
of the dryer repeatedly within a short interval of time. After having stopped it, wait at
least 5 minutes to re-start the dryer, in order to allow the pressure to be equalised
6. Open the air outlet valve (AV)
Drain the tank every day - Check of the tank as part of the annual maintenance by a com-
petent body or a client service expert. The check date has to be recorded on the vessel. If
applicable observe the local standards.
7.3 Stopping
1. Take switch E2 of the pressure switch to position 0 (AUTO) or rotate switch E1 to the OFF (Fig. 4)
position.
2. Close the air outlet valve (AV).
3. Shut off the power.
If a compressor with pressure switch stops during operation owing to a power down, the pressure
incoming from the outlet pipe must be discharged by moving the switch located on the upper part of
the pressure switch to position 0 in order to prevent, when power is restored, the compressor from
restarting with the presence of a counter-pressure.
7.4 De-commissioning
At the end of the compressor's service life, proceed as follows:
1. Stop the compressor and close the air discharge valve.
2. Cut off the power and disconnect the compressor from the electrical mains.
