24. Never heat objects such as cans or bottles in the
electric kettle.
25. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is always
completely closed, to prevent injuries from hot splas-
hing water.
26. To prevent injuries due to hot splashing water, do not
open the lid as long as the water is boiling.
27. Never fill the appliance with more than 0.5 litres of
water, to prevent the water from boiling over.
28. Never switch on the appliance if there is no water in
the kettle.
29. Make sure that all users, especially children, are
aware of the danger of injury from emerging steam or
hot splashing water – danger of burns!
30. Do not move the appliance as long as it is in opera-
tion, to prevent burns from splashing water.
31. The electric kettle features boil-dry protection, which
means the appliance shuts off automatically if the
heating element becomes too hot. Allow the appli-
ance to cool for approximately 15 minutes. Then fill
the electric kettle with cold water. The boil-dry pro-
tection switches off and the appliance is ready for
operation again.
32. Never use the appliance while the vehicle is in
motion.
33. Keep the appliance stored in a safe location while
the vehicle is in motion. Protect the appliance from
falling. If the appliance should fall, have it checked
by our customer service organisation before placing
it in service again.
34. Check the change status of the vehicle battery, if you
want to use the device in a vehicle when the engine
is not running.
35. Wipe up spilled water immediately to prevent damage
to the appliance or the vehicle.
