saFety inFormation

1. Please read these instructions carefully
before using your ice cream maker and keep
them in a safe place.
2. This appliance is not designed to be used
by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have been instructed by
such a person on how to use the appliance.
3. Children should be supervised to ensure
they don't play with the machine.
4. Connect the appliance to alternating current
only, in accordance with the rating plate.
5. This appliance is not intended for operation
with an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
6. Always unplug the appliance after use,
before cleaning, and in the event of a mal-
function.
7. Do not immerse the appliance in water or
other fluids; protect the power cord from
moisture.
8. The appliance and all of its parts are not
dishwasher-proof.

11. Never operate the appliance or place it or
the power cord on or near hot surfaces.
12. Fully unwind the power cord before use.
13. Make sure the power cord does not hang
over the edge of the worktop.
14. Do not exceed the maximum filling capacity
(max. ¾ of the capacity of the ice cream
bowl) as the ice cream will expand during
freezing.
15. Always fill the ingredients into the remo-
vable ice cream bowl, never directly into the
recess of the housing.
16. Do not place any items into the appliance
or reach into the bowl when the ice cream
maker is in operation - risk of injury!
17. Only use the appliance when properly
assembled.
18. Do not use the appliance with accessories of
other machines or brands.
19. Do not use sharp objects in the bowl to
avoid scratching. Only use rubberized or
wooden spoons or spatulas to take out the
ice cream from the bowl.
