DURING OPERATION

Keep people and animals away from the cutting area (fi g. 4).
Before operation, clear the cutting area of all foreign objects
(fi g. 4).
Operate only with either bag or protections in position (fi g.
5).
Keep hands and feet away from the chute door and the blades
under the deck (fi g. 6 and 7).
The grassbag material is capable of stopping most forms of
debris (stones, gravel, etc.) which could be thrown out by the
blade. lt is essential that the grassbag is checked periodically
for damage or wear, in which case it should be replaced Imme-
diately with an original IBEA grassbag.
Leaf collection
Your mower may also be used to collect leaves:
1. The grassbag must be correctly mounted.
2. The height of cut must be adjusted to the same height, or
slightly higher than the layer of leaves.
The blade will create an air vacuum which lifts the leaves and
sucks them into the grassbag.
MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION: Never service or repair the mower until the bla-
de and the engine have stopped and you have disconnected
the high tension wire from the spark plug (fi g. 1, rif. 12).
Always wear gloves during maintenance operations.
NOTE: Should you need to adjust the shift lever or to replace
the belt, you should take your lawnmower to your authori-
sed IBEA dealer.

ty.
NOTE: Operations in dusty conditions may require more fre-
