What happens if something goes wrong

If the appliance is not working correctly, check the following points before calling your local Electrolux Service
Force engineers.
Keep in mind that
If a fault should occur with your appliance, check using
these instructions to see if you can eliminate any of the
causes yourself.
Important:
Callouts by the after-sales service during the guarantee
period are not free if the appliance is working incorrectly
due to incorrect use.
A series of suggestions follow for dealing
with faults.
The oven door cannot be opened
Has the pyrolytic cleaning function been activated? The
door remains locked until the oven has cooled down
sufficiently. The door can also be unlocked at the end of
the programmed time.
The electronic system of the oven is
behaving irregularly or there is erratic
connection behaviour...
• Turn the appliance off and then back on.
• In the case of possible operating faults, disconnect
the power supply to the appliance by unscrewing the
fuses, or disconnecting the automatic differential for
several minutes. Then set the time.
Is "PYRO" shown on the display?
• The oven has become sufficiently dirty. Start pyrolytic
cleaning. See the chapter on "How to use pyrolytic
cleaning".
Is "12.00" shown on the display, or is
the TIME LED flashing?
All times set are deleted when the appliance is first
connected or if there has been a power cut.
Set the time because this is necessary for the oven to
work.
Is "SAFE" shown on the display?
The child safety device is switched on. See the chapter
"Child safety device".
