Analogue Input (ADC)
This is an analogue ADC input. This input is able to measure a voltage of between 0 V to 2.8V.
It can also be used for temperature sensors. If the set limit value (in mV or °C) is exceeded or
undercut, the module may automatically return alarm message.
Please observe that there can be measurement errors at the maximum voltages of 2.8 V.
Threshold values are entered in mV; thus, the value 1200 must be sent to the "GX107" for a
threshold voltage of 1.2 V.
This is intended e.g. for an analogue fill level indicator; the module can issue a warning
message before the storage container runs empty or flows over.
For threshold level input, use the command:
SET ADC <Voltage1> <Voltage2> #1513
Voltage1 = upper threshold
Voltage2 = lower threshold
The "Voltage1" value must be higher than the "Voltage2" one!
Example:
SET ADC 2300 1100 #1513
In case of voltages of less than 1.100V or more than 2.300V at the ADC, the "GX107" will give
an alarm.
The threshold value range is from 0 to 2800.
If "2800" is set as voltage1, the upper threshold is deactivated. If "0" is set as
voltage2, the lower threshold is deactivated.
Several alarms may be given in the threshold level area, depending on the
input signal variations.
Deleting the thresholds set
For deleting the thresholds set, use the command:
RESET ADC #1513
