Switching on the Devices
When the SIM card is inserted, the "GX107" automatically switches off. This is indicated by the
green LED (status GSM (4)):
At first, the LED is lit permanently (network search) and after a few seconds, the LED should
start to flash (network found, "GX107" operational). If the green status LED does not start
flashing, there is a problem with the connection to the GSM provider.
In this case, reset the "GX107" to its default settings, check the SIM card (PIN/PUK), check the
reception quality at the "GX107" location with a different mobile phone and check the
connection of the external GSM aerial, if one is used.
If the red LED is lit (3), access to the SIM card is not possible! Ensure that the
SIM card is activated, inserted correctly and/or set to the right PIN.
If the "GX107" was previously used with a different SIM card, the PIN in the
"GX107" may have to be changed. In this case, reset the "GX107" to factory
settings (section on "Resetting to Default Settings") and check the PIN of the
SIM card in your mobile phone.
