WARNING:
The telescoping pole will flex as pressure is added or lost.
Fully understand how the pole moves when adding or
lessening pressure before attempting a cleaning project. If
you are not completely comfortable with the movement of
the pole under changing pressure conditions, do not use
this product. Loss of control of the telescoping pole could
result in possible serious personal injury.
n Adjust the height of the telescoping pole as needed to fit
your project requirements.
WARNING:
Lengthen the telescoping pole only as much as necessary
for the project you are attempting and remain in full control
of the telescoping pole at all times. Loss of control of the
telescoping pole could result in possible serious personal
injury.
n Move to the project area, raise the pole and aim toward the
area to be cleaned. Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying.
n When placing the pole on the ground, make sure to set it
on the ground gently to avoid breaking any of the plastic
components or accessories.
ADJUSTING THE LOCK LEVERS
See Figure 7.
The clamping force should require some resistance to lock the
lever securely into position. The lock levers should hold the
pole securely when in the locked position and should allow
the pole to move freely when in the unlocked position. Over
time, a lever may need adjustment to maintain its securely
locked position.
n Place the lever in the unlocked position.
n Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), turn the adjusting
screw clockwise to tighten the lock lever or counterclock-
wise to loosen it.
n Place the lever in the locked position and be sure it securely
locks the extension pole in place.
