7. CLEANING
7.1. OF THE CAST IRON FRONT SECTION.
Preferably clean when the insert fireplace is
cold using a slightly damp cloth.
7.2. OF THE GLASS PANE.
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are quite
effective products.
Never try to clean the glass while the fireplace
is working.
Replacing. The glass pane in your insert fireplace
is
made
of
thermal
manufactured for log and/or coal fireplaces. If it
should break due to an accident, it must be
replaced by another glass pane with the same
technical specifications. Contact our Distributor to
provide you with the appropriate glass pane,
together with instructions to assemble and seal it.
8. SAFETY
Warning
Gas, wood or pellet fireplaces heat up w hen lit. As a result it is necessary to be cautious
and keep a certain distance aw ay, especially children, old people, people w ith special needs
and pets w hile the fire is on.
Make sure that children and anyone else not used to the w orkings of a fireplace, are
supervised by an older person when near.
To avoid burns and also to protect vulnerable people it is advisable to use a fireguard or
screen. The use of heat resistant gloves are recommended w hen in contact w ith the
fireplace.

7.3. OF T HE DEFLECT ION PLAT E.
1. A –Slide the deflection place forward and
upward until the side tabs on the deflector are
free (Fig.1)
B - Lower the deflector until it is free (Fig.2).
2. Clean both sides of the deflector plate once a
season using a hard (wire) brush. T his will
facilitate the transmission of air through the
plate and avoid its deterioration to a great
extent.
3. Install the deflector plate once again based on
the instructions described in point 1.
7.4. JOINTS AND SEALS.
We recommend a visual inspection of the
state of joints (doors, glass...) and seals at the
beginning and half-way through a season to check
whether they need replacing or repairing.
