11 Maintenance
 The device, external filter and cabling must be inspected
regularly in order to ensure optimum device performance.
This maintenance work should be carried out by authorised
dealers.
12 Decommissioning /
disposal
12.1 Long shutdown periods
 Disconnect the power supply.
12.2 Criteria for a shutdown
Under the following circumstances, you should DISCONNECT
THE POWER SUPPLY and contact your retailer:
 Unusual noises during operation
 Water/foreign bodies have penetrated the operator panel
 Water is dripping from the indoor unit
 The circuit breaker frequently trips automatically
 The power cable becomes unusually hot
12.3 Disposal
User information for collecting and disposing of
old devices
These symbols on products, packaging and/or accompanying
documents mean that used electrical and electronic products
and batteries should not be disposed of with general domestic
waste.
Please take these old products and batteries to the relevant
collection points for treatment, reworking and/or recycling in
accordance with the applicable national legislation, as well as
directives 2002/96/EC and 2006/66/EC.
By disposing of these products and batteries correctly, you are
helping to protect valuable resources and to avoid a negative
impact on human health and the environment which may
otherwise occur due to waste being improperly handled.
