5. Settings

5.1 Air volume

The air volume is set using the two ball valves (8). With the right ball valve, the air volume for the right hose nipple
is set using the float (9). The air outlet on the right cannot be completely closed usign the ball valve. This minimal
air flow is used to cool the blower and may not be closed later!
Only the left ball valve can be closed completely. The ball valves influence each other when setting the air volume.
The maximum air volume of both outlets is approx. 200 l/min.
The float has a precision of 4%.

6. Commissioning

6.1 Work environment and safety

The blower must be set up in such a way that sufficient cold air can be drawn in on the back.
The slots on the back may not be covered.
Never use the blower in explosive or readily inflammable surroundings and maintain sufficient distance
from combustible materials or explosive gases at all times!
The device must only be used on a horizontal and fireproof surface.
In addition, comply with national statutory requirements regarding occupational safety (securing safety
of personnel or devices)!
Contact the manufacturer without fail should uncertainties arise during installation or operation.
Power supply cord and extension cord
• The nominal voltage specified on the device (see technical data) must match the mains voltage.
• The power cord (1) must be able to move freely and must not hinder the user or third parties during work
(danger of tripping).
• The extension cord must be authorized for the utilization site (e.g., outdoors) and be marked accordingly.
Take into account the necessary minimum cross-section for extension cables, as required.
Power plants for energy supply
When using power plants as an energy supply, please ensure that the power plants are grounded and equipped
with earth leakage circuit breakers.
For the nominal output of the power plants, the formula "2 x nominal output of the hot air welding device" applies.

6.2 Operating readiness

Connect the device with the appropriate hoses and clamps to the connection nipple (7). If only one device is used,
attach this to the right connection nipple (7). The current supply for the device is inserted into the outlets (6).
Open the ball valves (8) a bit.
